Beef pattie grilled medium with chipotle mayo, pepperjack and avocado on a toasty ciabatta roll. Scrum dil! Now I'm hungry!!
lettuce, tomato, onion, mayonnaise, ketchup, dill pickle slices, cheese, bacon, sauteed mushrooms...bun is typically a Kaiser Roll or an Onion Roll..
Grilled/BBQd medium rare...usually made with chopped onions and garlic in the patty...
served with corn on the cob, french fries.
Trouble with me is, I like them ALL.
I love everything.
Sigh.
;/
This is a good fun one.
Me:
Kobe beef burger, GRILLED.
Medium done
Teriyaki sauce
Portabello mushroom on the side
Gruyere cheese
Pineapple, grilled
caramelized onions
Whole grain bun
Roasted bell peppers
No lettuce
No mayo
No mustard
Dash of Tobasco
Onion rings on the side.
YUM.
I have actually had this, many times.
The Banzai burger at Red Robin is one of my favorite burgers. Marinated in teriyaki & topped with grilled pineapple, Cheddar cheese, crisp lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. Just had one last night. Another is the Jone's burger from Burger Jones. Yum.
ooooh now i want a burger!
I like grilled, beef, with cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, mushroom on a nice kaiser bun! (medium well) YUM!
I like my hamburger's rare with tomato slices and red onion slices--no bun. If I don't have any fresh tomatoes I sometimes use canned tomatoes or medium or hot salsa.
Turkey burgers I like plain.
No bun -- my buns are big enough as is my spare tire.
I like beef, medium, with sharp cheddar, onion (cut into rings), two claussen pickles (kosher dill sandwich slices), and NO sauce of any kind. The bun doesn't really matter to me, actually. I'll take grilled, broiled, or pan friend.
Dang pizza and salad for dinner. All I want is a burger now!!!
ETA: We totally bailed on pizza and had hamburgers instead :)

We love the Village Burger Bar in Allen located in the Watters Creek shopping Center.
My 2 favorite types of burgers: 1) well done beef patty, extra sharp white cheddar cheese & barbecue sauce topped onion rings and thick-cut peppered bacon all on a kaiser roll; 2) well done beef patty, Havarti & medium cheddar cheese with chunky, spicy guacamole on a sourdough roll.
GREAT question!! I love food!
Beef burger cooked medium, extra American cheese, and I dip it in ketchup (no ketchup on it! Just dipping!)
Husband likes his medium rare with A1 steak sauce, cheese, and jalepenos.
I make a great cream cheese, egg, and jalepeno burger!!
So what time's dinner? ;)
Grilled medium Well, 100% beef.
Depending on my mood:
-extra pickles, mustard, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce
- guacamole, cheese
- Franks Red Hot sauce on any burger mentioned above
I would love a goood sesame seed or poppy seed bun, but really I don't care too much. Fuddruckers is my fav place to get a burger, as their buns are good, I can get as many pickles on my burger as I want, plus I can get all the melty cheese all over my burger. Only bummer is they don't have Franks Red Hot there.
I LOVE either turkey, chicken or beef burgers with mushrooms. YUM, whole weat bun. If it's beef, medium.
I love portobello!
I rarely have a regular burger, but when I do is has
1/4 lb well done patty
Swiss cheese
grilled onions and mushrooms
tomato
lettuce
pickles
on whole wheat
Burger must be beef. Otherwise it's merely a "sandwich." I like mine well done and even like the charry ones from the grill. Toppings depend on the mood...
Basic: just ketchup.
Usual: ketchup, cheese.
Usual #2: ketchup, onions.
Fancy: ketchup, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese optional.
Fancy shmancy: ketchup, cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion. Wacked out: throw some onion rings on it.
I love a good cheeseburger!
Lightly toasted sesame bun
Well done beef patty with melted American cheese
Ketchup and light mustard
Sweet pickle chips
Fresh onion
Fresh crispy lettuce
That's how my perfect Burger is. No tomato though!
Oh excuse me, am I drooling?
Well done, beef
Kaiser roll
Lettuce
Pickles (on the bottom)
Heinz Ketchup
I'm not a big burger guy. But I'll tell you what, 3 or 4 x a year I get a SERIOUS hankering for a burger just-so.
I use ground beef, an egg, fresh minced parsley, a tad of garlic, and finely chopped red onion in my patty. Cooked on a good ol' fashioned BBQ (preferably somewhere warm :-)). In restaurants I order my burger as rare as the cook will do it. Around my dad, I'll ask for my burgers medium rare. To him rare REALLY means rare.
Now, for toppings I'll usually add browned onions (or sometimes just raw), a tomato slice and romaine lettuce, and cheese (Havarti is my favorite - but I'm a biiiiiiig cheese fan, so almost anything pleases me). Ketchup and strong mustard. NO pickles. Blech. Waste of a perfectly delicious hamburger.
ALSO. I am a big fan of black bean patties for burgers.
oh, and AVOCADO. I really like avocado.
Darn it R., now I'm so hungry!! ;-)
OK, you lived in CA so you know. In-N-Out Burger but I don't eat beef so it is their "Grilled Cheese" with grilled onions, lettuce tomatoes amd thousand island dressing!
Bison Grilled, with garlic-chilies-onions, bleu cheese mixed in. Medium-rare... pink middle. on Large Kaiser bun complete with LOTS of poppy seed. SMOTHERED in caramelized onions, green pepper, black pepper, salt, and my own concoction of mayo, mustard, and ketchup. Fresh sliced tomato, and a big ole pickle.... yeah messy, stinky, and heartburn heaven.... I LOVE to Belch after I eat it. NO mosquitos mess with me that night.
I prefer mine to be corpse-free. Black bean or soy.
Chilis has a great one with swiss cheese and mushrooms on a black bean burger. But to cut out the fat sometimes i just get honey mustard and avocado with lettuce. id prefer a wheat bun but whattyagonnado ?
Ketchup and pickles and lettuce(often times sprouts) is what i would add at home to my morningstar farm brand "grillers" I always have it on rye or wheat or sprouted bread.
The cheesecake factory makes one out of beets, brown rice and farro that is good for you AND so good TASTING i actually make noise when i eat it!
We had burgers last night and I was going to post this as a questions since all FIVE of us like our bugers different ways. Mine is beef, well done, on potatoe bun, with cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomatoe, pickle, mayo, thousand island, ketchup and mustard. And so its all drippy and messy...
Beef - medium with pepperjack, provolone, swiss gruyere or havarti. Fried onion strings, lettuce, spicy mustard, sauteed mushrooms, avocado, and bacon. With fresh tomato slices and a great pickle on the side.
I like a simple wheat bun and I always take off the top and eat my burger with a fork.
