OK so ladies, ussually we're the ones doing the turning down when it comes to intimacy right? Well I'd J. like to say, its not nice!!! lol I got turned down last night by my bf for the first time and it felt crappy! He said he was stressed about a bunch, but seriously it wasn't an awesome feeling. The day prior he had been anti cuddling hence my previous post=) and then last night no "fun" what the stink is going on?? he does have a lot on his plate this week, but we've only been dating almost 11 months, and should still be in the every minute we can we will phase. As I said in my previous post that I express love in terms of physical affection. I have toned down the cuddling, but being turned down!! Not Cool! LOL So ladies how often do you turn your men down? or do you get turned down? I have to say its not a nice feeling so my advice is tonight everone go home and intitate and make them feel good from all of the times you rejected them. It should be national noone gets turned down day!

LOL Rachel, I'm the same way, I've never turned him down once!! He could wake M. up and I'd still have fun! I put my big girl pants on, but definitely had to get my panties realligned and out of the wad they were put into once I got told no...the pervious night, he was anti cuddling and i went to get some, and he said i already gave you some this morning...wth???I didnt know there was a once a day limit...lol (and if there is when did that get enstated b/c we broke that a lot),...I do know hes stressed, he's never turned M. down before! I'm enstating it, it should be a thing on FB J. like the bra size/color was
mamamay i'm ussually paranoid but no, hes still coming over to hang and affectionate other ways, like putting his arm ard M., J. not into getting some, in his defnse the day he said no cuddling we did get it on that morning, so the only day i got turned down was last night

For 9 years... only if I was "benched" (aka on my period, which he cared about), or ill. We had sex almost every day, often a couple times a day.

This past year, I'm refusing to sleep with the man. I hit my last straw. I have to respect him before I can sleep with him. Until then, the muffin shop is closed.

Wow, I'm seriously the only one out there turning my hubby down? I don't know how many times I have/do....but yes, it definitely happens! He has bad timing in my opinion and I'm very tired by the end of my day!

It's not a nice feeling. My hubby and I are equal on the turning down. There are times when he is J. too busy with work (he works from home). And there are times when I am J. too tired or feel asleep. It's all part of being in a relationship. You have to take the good with the bad.

My husband and I have been together for 16+ years and I can count on one hand how many times I've turned him down (and they were all very good reasons and he completely understood!).
I am also the initiator about 50% of the time and he has very rarely turned M. down. Yeah, it temporarily hurt my feelings, but I get it.

Oooh...my husband will celebrate today's holiday with lights...a flag on our house...streamers...and there will be fireworks(in bed..hee...hee!!) he maybe even take the day off but that will be hard to explain this holiday to his boss.

J. kidding. I try my hardest to be game whenever my husband is...and I try to initiate with him too. We have a very open and honest discussion about our needs on an ongoing basis. I feel heard and so does he.

Thank you for giving M. another national holiday to "celebrate"!!

Good luck and best wishes for getting some lovin' tonight!!

Never...we've been together 11yrs and we don't turn each other down. We have pretty parallel sex drives so this works well for us. I wouldn't take it personal. My husband and I are able to "read" eachother after so many years and we can tell when the other isn't feeling it. You have been together 11months. Give yourselves time find your rhythm as a couple.

Ok, so bf tell you yesterday that he hates to cuddle yesterday and doesn't want sex for the 1st time? Are you sure this isn't his way of trying to break up with you?

I have never, not once, in almost 5 years, turned down my husband.

HE turns M. down all the time!! He's older than I am and doesn't quite have the sex drive I do... doesn't stop M. from trying ;) He uses all the 'woman' responses... my head hurts, I'm tired, blah blah blah... WHATEVER DUDE!

I love national 'no one gets turned down day', maybe I'll get what I want later!

hahahaha! I don't think I have ever turned him down in 17 years except for actually falling asleep which is almost as bad LOL

For us the libido has switched....back in our early twenties he wanted it all the time and I would have other things on my mind but would comply and still enjoy. Now I want it all the time and there are some nights he is exhausted (he works odd hours and lots of them) and every once in a blue moon he will say " sorry babe, I am too tired". I remember the first time he did turn M. down....CRAPPY feeling lol My panties were definitely bunched for awhile ! But don't take it personal and maybe J. make it a fun thing tonight by pursuing him even more til he gives in :)

We've been together almost 20 years and I used to turn him down all the time -lol - but in recent history he hasn't been asking as much (2 young kiddos, f/t jobs, busy life) so I turn him down less - but still turn him down nonetheless.

I admire you non turning down mommas but don't quite get how you want it all the time...hehe...i'm too tired most of the time (and not to brag but man oh man my hubby knows how to give M. a good time)...:-)

I will NEVER turn it down..
would have to be an extreme situation..
Ok there are times when my b/f gets all touchy when the kids are eating lunch.... or other times like that.
Or when the baby J. wakes up and is crying in her bed...
Those times I, most of the time, give in lol sometimes I push it off till later...
Otherwise BRING IT!! lol

I've said yes even when i've had a migraine. sex is a great thing and i'll take it as often as possible. he rarely turns M. down also. if we either of us have to say no, we make plans to say yes in the near future.
