B..
Congrats! I also have an interview tomorrow, for an at home job I've been hoping for.
Fingers crossed for us both, good luck!
I have been filling out a number of applications for jobs and have had 2 call backs and been turned down about 10 times. But today, I got a call from a place that I applyed at on the 5th of this month for a job interview for a temporary holiday position. My interview is tomorrow and I couldn't be happier! My mom even had said, "Give a girl an interview and she doesn't know what to do." I danced around the living room and was just so very happy. Now I'm hoping that I get the job and hopefully after the holiday season they'll have something opened up to where I can be on permantly.
*does a happy dance*
Congrats! I also have an interview tomorrow, for an at home job I've been hoping for.
Fingers crossed for us both, good luck!
When I worked at Penney's I started as a seasonal employee. The store sales manager at that time started as 'Christmas help' and always joked that it was Christmas for 32 yrs.
Good luck on the interview.
One peice of advice, smile be friendly and willing to do what it takes. Once you start the job smile lots and be as helpful as you can be.
good luck! Your enthusiasm is going to land you this position I have a feeling!
We're dancing with you!!! WOOHOO
Congrats & good luck!
As a former operations manager, if you get the job, make sure you are always on time. Early is even better, that is if you really want to be more than seasonal help. Take extra shifts, when and if you can. Be friendly! This sounds simple but can be very hard at times!! Do not get caught up in work drama! Once again, sounds simple, but it's really easy to get caught up in bashing someone if you feel the same way about something or someone. If they ask you to stay late & you can then you should. Remember if you are going out with the girls or the boyfriend, they will still be there tomorrow night. You only have a short time, as seasonal help, to make a great impression. Once the holidays are over, you will have a set schedule, you can say no to extra hours then. :$
:)
Good luck again!
Happy Dance for you!! You go nail that interview tomorrow.. And get the offer!! You CAN do it!
Let us know the outcome! Congratulations!!
Wonderful!!!!!!!!! Hope it becomes permanent!
Good Luck and I hope I get one too. Its so hard for everyone right now.
So happy to see some good news for you! If you haven't opened your own bank account, make sure you do and put your wages in it - not in your joint account with your husband. You need to be putting money back in your own name, J..
Hope this pans out! Happy dance away!
Dawn
Happy dances going all over!
Congrats! You'll do great!

Yea! You are already leaps and bounds ahead of the competition with your confidence and enthusiasm! Go get 'em!!!
Awesome. Your optimism will spill over in the interview and employers, especially seasonal ones, probably love optimism as it is contagious to customers!
Hopefully, you'll sign on and get to stay on!
Great to see some positive job news!
