My Sunday School group is interested in taking our children to a water park sometime within the next few weeks, but need input on which one will benefit us with our different ages in children. The youngest is 1, 3, 4 & then the others are about 7-12. Which one have you found out to be fun for all ages & why. I look forward to your responses & thanks.
I prefer Hawaiian Falls. There is also Bad Konigshofen at Stoval Park in Arlington off of Sublett. It's a city park, but it has areas for kids of all ages. From fountains, to a shallow arrow with the stuff to squirt with, and to another area for the kids to swim and dive, and a few slides. It cost very little to get in, and you are allowed to bring coolers, and might be more cost prohibitive to everyone.
My personal recommendation, stay away from Hurricane Harbor-it's just a little too rough for our taste. NRH2O and Hawaiian Falls would be my pick hands down. They are very similar to me however if you are looking for more for older kids I would choose Hawaiian Falls because it seems to have a little more than NRH2O-IMO. Honestly, I think they are both great and for me it would boil down to location...which is closer to you. HTH
Went to HF last week for the first time. I have been to the others and this is the one I would recommend. Fun for all ages and its not too big, just right for a group. Have Fun.
