How to Hang These Pictures

I have some art I want to hang in my daughter's room. The prints have a canvas overlay, so they look like they were made on canvas. I had it printed that way, so I wouldn't need to frame them. But I didn't consider the sides of the pictures. They were printed on foam board and simply cut from that. So the sides look sloppy. I know a frame minus the glass would be an easy solution, but they are odd sizes and that looks like a minimum investment of $100. Any ideas mamas??

What can I do next?

Coordinating fabric or ribbon or fabric trim around the edges? Iron the outside edge of the fabric for a clean front and then glue down, wrapping the excess/rough edge behind the print, maybe gluing or stapling in place. Alternatively inexpensive thin moulding to cover the edges? I used yardsticks once for such a purpose - cut to size and then tacked on with heavy duty glue to cover the sides. That might not fight your purpose but another suggestion. Good luck.

I like the ribbon idea! You could also use wood veneer as well. I have seen it sold in rolls in varying thicknessess.

Good luck!

Hi! How about canvas stretchers? They will give you a frame cheaply that you can finish any way you want.
