I am applying to for a different job, but it says to mail your resume to: Box 3700, c/o The Journal, P.O. Box 2108, Kansas City, MO

Should it be typed this way?

Box 3700
c/o The Journal
P.O. Box 2108
Kansas City, MO

Thanks. It has been a long time since I have mailed in a resume and cover letter. :)

There is not a phone number listed, just what I copied and pasted into my question.

Go ahead and write it the way it's printed. It looks weird, but I think it's correct. Don't forget the zip code!

It's weird because there's a box # and a PO Box #. I would flip the c/o and the box # around as well.

Call them and ask an administrative assistant what their exact mailing address is. It's a weird address I think.

I think you need to flip the Box number and the C/O The Journal.

Alot of times the resumes are sent to the newspaper and the employer picks them up. So the PO Box is the newspapers address and the Box # is designed for the employer.

I would type/write just as you have above.

Good luck!

Do it as you have it, or call. I would not automatically flip it...that would be assuming the company typed their own address incorrectly, which would be hard to believe. I think the c/o is typically on the 2nd line anyway...but if in doubt, call the company. Good luck!

You can also google it or look on googlemaps, or even the post office website...usps.gov.
