JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts has Halloween costumes at 70% off, also Halloween costume fabrics on clearance.
Other fabric stores such as Hancock would also be clearing out Halloween fabrics (including Walmart)
Thrift stores (Savers) usually have both new and used costumes as well.
Good luck!

Try Savers, the Good Will, Salvation Army or any other thrift store. I have found numerous costumes there for $5 or much less.

I just picked up a brand new scooby doo costume in the package at goodwill on University & Fairview in St. Paul for $4.99. they had lots of costumes, still, even last evening. I think there is quite a selection of the "fuzzy" ones for infants.
Good luck!

Checked out Value Village, Savers or other Thrift Shops? They have good accesory peices too. I have looked online for ideas and a little paint, cardboard and tape can go a long way. A cowboy or scarecrow is easy with flanel shirt and bibs or jeans. Put dots of mascarea on the check for scare crow or lines as cat's wiskers and dress child in black.

Have you checked out Once upon a Child? They often have some slightly used halloween costumes. Otherwise Parents magazine (or Website) has some ideas for easy costumes you can make (www.parents.com) and so does Baby Talk magazine on their website (i'm not sure what that one is.) I was also at JoAnn Etc. yesterday and they had all of their Halloween Costumes priced at 70% off, and they had some cute pumpkins, clowns etc for little ones. Hope this is helpful! Good Luck -

Target has a dollar area at the front of the store that may some fun ideas, for that matter try one of the dollar stores. I know it's hard to choose a costume for kids at this age, especially because you want you kids to be warm enough. Joanne fabics has all there halloween stuff on sale right now as does target. try to think outside the box. Reynolds wrap can go a long way for an alien for example.

Just have fun!
