I am looking for a good place with fair prices to get my son's hair cut. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

I take my kids to Heavenly Hair. They are in Highland off of Milford Rd. approx. 1/2 to a mile south of M-59. Both Terri and Ann are great. My husband even goes there. For kids under 11 they charge 10.00 and 17.00 for women (men are about 10.00). They schedule appointments and take walk-ins. Ann is really good with the colics in my son's hair.
I don't have their number handy at the moment or I would give it to you. Hope this helps.

I take my three children to a woman that does it out of her home. I also get mine done there. She is very reasonable and she is really good. She is licensed and use to work at a salon until she decided to become a stay-at-home mom.

She is a friend of ours and we have known her for years. She has a small salon right in her house and she is very professional. It may be less scary depending on how old your son is. She is located off of Union Lake Road and is just North of Cooley Lake Road and South of St. Pat's Church. Her name is Kristin Fuller and her phone number is ###-###-####. She has three children of her own.

We use to go to Fantastic Sam's and Great Clips and she is about the same price, but she is so much better than they are!! Give her a call and I hope this works out for you.

I ended up taking my daughter to my stylist (she cut her own hair and I needed it done well to hide it) and I was shocked that she only charged me $10. So, now I always take her to my stylist, she always just charges $10 and is so much better with her than any of the regulars places, like borics or grondins. AND, my daughter behaves better (I am not sure why, but she loves getting her hair cut now), and she used to hate it.

Anyway, check with your own stylist, she might not charge a lot.

we go to Stylz salon in Wixom. They are located on pontiac trail just west of Beck Road. Bobbi Jo cuts our son's hair. She charges $10. Best of all, she is very patient. Our son used to scream and cry and thrash. I used to have to hold him on my lap face down! Through it all she was still patient and sweet to him. Now he sits in the chair and cooperates and she loves him. Needless to say, she doesn't hold a grudge!
