Hi Mamas!

I keep seeing an advertisement for this website- ____@____.com says that for a small fee you can get manufacturer coupons for things that you buy. It sounds too good to be true. I was just wondering if "real" people have actually heard of this and if it does work as well as it sounds. Thanks for any help!

I'm not familiar with it, but anything that would make you pay for coupons sounds like a red flag to me. I'd stay away just based on what you said.

If you have to pay to "save" you are not saving....it's a scam in my opinion.

I use Hotcouponworld.com, pennypincher.com, pillsbury.com, generalsmills.com and others...not paying for one coupon

I'm an avid couponer and I would NEVER pay a site to print off coupons. The ONLY thing I would pay for to get coupons would be a newspaper. And even then there are ways around that...recycle centers, libraries, friends, family, etc. Message me if you'd like to know more about couponing. I'm ALWAYS loving to chat about it and teach others! Good Luck!

There are many sites where you can just print coupons for free. Having to pay a 'fee' for a coupon would be a red flag, you know?

I don't know about that particular one, but I have seen many reports on the news and shows like Good Morning America for services like this - the Grocery Game is one I remember but there are others. A small fee is normal. If you refer someone else once you are a member, you get some sort of credit toward your membership. The Grocery Game lets you do a month for free to see if you like it.

I get some other coupons emailed to me since I used to do Grocery Game (but it didn't pay just because I have a small family and don't use a lot of the products they featured). These coupons are many of the same ones featured in the newspaper inserts - you can get doubles this way, and it also lets you look through all of them and just print out the ones you use. It saves printer ink that way.

The Grocery Game fee was something like $10 a month for up to 3 stores in your area. If the service you are trying charges more, I'd back away from it. But a small fee would be normal.

There are other ways to trade coupons. I wouldn't do it.
