I am craving that!
Wanna make it this weekend.
So if any of you have a good tried and true popular recipe, can you share it?
Hopefully, an easy/quick version?

THANK you!

Hi,

Just a few days ago, "Hungry Girl" from Foodnetwork made this but a healthy version. She used ground turkey instead of ground beef. (You could use either of the two meats.) Since my husband and I have been counting calories lately, I stuck with the ground turkey. I liked it a lot... but I did miss my ground beef just a bit. My inlaws were over and they enjoyed it too. It was easy to make. Here's the link to the recipe: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/flooshs-stuffed-cabbag...

Enjoy!

cabbage leaves
1+ can Campbell's tomato soup seperated
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. cooked rice
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Cook cabbage in water for a few minutes to soften. Drain. Mix 2 tablespoons soup with rest of ingredients. Divide mixture among cabbage leaves; fold in sides. Roll up and place loose end next to bottom of skillet. Pour remaining soup over cabbage rolls. Cover and simmer about 40 minutes

I love lots of soup so I typically add a few cans. Once I get so many cabbage leaves off I chop the rest and throw it on top of the rolls because I love the soup and cabbage combination.

This isn't stuffed, but it's delicious and easy!
If you use a bag of cole slaw from the super market you don't even have to chop up the cabbage.
Instead of ground beef and sausage, I use loose Sweet Italian sausage.
It's a great one pot meal and our whole family loves it.

Here is the way I make it..

Large head of cabbage. Pull out leaves. May need to remove touch white part by core. Dip in boiling water, just till tender ~ 4 min. Let drain.

Make 1 pot of white/brown or wild rice,

Brown
1 lb ground beef or Ground turkey, with
1/2 of a chopped onion
1 clove of chopped garlic (optional)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Drain all fat.

Mix in COOKED rice and stir all together.

Fold cabbage leaves with rice/meat mixture

Place in backing dish.. top with 1 can of tomato sauce (add 2 to 3 drops of Tabasco sauce.. optional) Bake for about 45 min to an hour.
