Good OB/GYN, Dentist and Endocrinologist in Burbank Area?

Stay away from dr. Stephen schmones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE Dr, Korostoff in Burbank for OB/Gyn. She's VERY personable, thourough and has great attitude towards patients' wishes and great bedside manner. She's on Alameda just down the street from St. Joseph's. For Dentists, we use Dr. Alan Leon in Glendale. My husband has seen him sinsce he was a baby and we have already taken our 3 yo to him as well. . He is on Brand Blvd. Above Glenoaks.

I hope I can help. I too have endocrine issues. I know a Gynecologic Endocrinologist who is really sharp. She also does infertility. Her name is Tina Koopersmith. She is located on Riverside Dr. in Sherman Oaks (not that far away). She does regular OB/GYN with special endocrine problems.

I also have a fabulous endocrinologist but he's a little further away. He used to practice at UCLA but now is in private practice in Beverly Hills (near Cedars Sinai). I feel the little drive is worth his expertise. He was the only doctor to diagnose me and then help me get pregnant and refer me to a infertility doctor and a perinatologist. He is very knowledgable, thorough, patient and NICE!!! His name is Pejman Cohan and he's on Robertson Blvd.

Lastly- the dentist. This one I'm a little partial to because he's my boss. I'm a dental hygienist and I've worked for him for 18 yrs. I would not have stayed there for so long if he wasn't a good dentist and such a nice man! And he sees young children! His name is Jack Kurtz. He is located at 1220 W. Glenoaks Blvd. in Glendale (just passed the Burbank border, between Western and Grandview). Hope this all helps!

Hi there, I was seen by Daphne Baptiste, she is right across the stret from St. Joseph's, she was real nice and seemed to know her stuff. She delivered my son and I saw her afterwards as well until I moved to Germany. Good luck.

Dr Dawn Cashie in Dr Samantha Hans office. Dr Cashie is WONDERFUL! These are two of the three docs in the office and practically all of the nurses in the labor and delivery ward of Saint Josephs go there. Stay AWAY from Dr David Neufield- terrible!

Wow, how bizarre Samantha Han was my obgyn love her. I know an awesome pediatric endocrinologist, Howard Lavin (Tarzana).

Dr. Han delivered my first daughter and Dr. Korostoff delivered my second. I liked them both and was very happy with Dr. Korostoff. She was very friendly, listened to my concerns and very professional. Dr. Korostoff is in Dr. Han's office. Here is the phone number ###-###-####. STAY AWAY FROM AN OB/GYN NAMED DAWN CASHIE. She's not only a lousy doctor, she's a nightmare of a human being. Like the comments of others here, we waited forever and when we met her for the first time, she said nothing upon entering the room, didn't even acknowledge my husband, and had the crappiest attitude I've ever seen from a doctor, every time we saw her. It was my first pregnancy and she never mentioned the MAJOR necessity of amniotic and chromosomal testing (to check for abnormalities.) Repeat - she never even brought it up. After numerous mistakes such as this, we finally fired her, and when we went into her office, she had the nerve to say "I can't be your doctor anymore" even though she already knew that we had switched doctors because we were so unhappy with her! Talk about arrogant and delusional. She is apparently extremely unhappy in her personal life and is letting it poison her professional life. She is a miserable, creepy woman. I wish someone had written a review like this before we went to her. I hope it helps someone else avoid her. There are a few nice people on her staff but they always seem embarrassed to be working for Cashie, and they should be. However, it took her staff forever to transfer our papers and they argued about everything we needed. Someone should tell Cashie that when you act like a miserable slug, people lose confidence in you professionally. Hopefully, she'll read this, but probably not since she obviously doesn't give a damn about her patients.
