Does anyone have these stuffed animal lights? Did your child like them? Are they worth getting? My son has seen the commercials of course, and would like one. I told him I'd check them out and see if they were a good thing to get.

Thanks!

So What Happened?

Got him the Penguin at Costco (the only one they had!) for $22 - he loves it :)

My kids (9, 7 and 4) each received one from Grandma this month (easrly Christmas) and they LOVE them. I think they are a bit pricey for a stuffed animal, so I was a little...I don't know, cautious about recommending them to my MIL, but in the end she decided to buy them, and they have been a real hit. They are smaller than a regular pillow pet but are still large for a stuffed animal. They are cute and very soft. The lights have been helpful for my 4 year old who is afraid of the dark. They seem well-made but we have only had them a week and a half.

DD got one for her Bday (she turned 5) and she does love hers.

I was hesitant, but it was the only thing she wanted. I bought it on sale for less than $20 - which I think is an appropriate price for what it is.
I was surprised to find that the light is actually pretty bright and definitely works to project the stars onto the ceiling very nicely. We have had it for a few months and it is holding up well.

It takes AAA batteries and they are NOT included, so make sure you pick some up when you get it.

Good luck!

My kids love them. The light is soft and can be set on changing colors or keeping them on one color. And they can be set to turn off after 20 minutes, or left on. They are a good alternative to a night light. I think that you can get ones that have music in them also, but we didn't get them with it. My kids are 7 an 8.

I think that you can get them at Target and other places other than online now, and they'll be a little cheaper than the TV ad.

ETA: You can get a plug adapter so you don't have to use batteries.

Our six-year-old daughter loves hers! We've had it a few months now and have been pleasantly surprised how well it works. Really does show up well on the ceiling.

My two year old loves hers. Her uncle got it for her though. I think it's over priced. She turns it on every night, but I still wouldn't spend that much on a night light.

My 3 year old got it from an aunt for Christmas and loves his. Doesnt really seem to help him fall asleep though. My 6 yo also has something similar and loved it for several months, falling asleep with it. But now only occasionally uses it...

If you buy one, take a buy buy baby coupon into TRU so that you only pay 24. 30 is way too high. Also, Costco here has them for 22...
