B..
Yes, I do. I tend to get oily, so a primer is my best friend! I have used and tried every brand of primer out there. Even stupidly expensive ones. My absolute favorite is Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro. I bought it at Target for $3.00. It's the BEST.
Hi Mamas!
I've noticed over the last couple of months the makeup under my eyes starts to look a little crackled around mid-day. A friend of mine mentioned that I could try using a primer under my foundation layer. I'm interested in giving it a try, but I'm not sure it's for me (every extra minute in the morning counts, ya know?). I use Bare Minerals if that matters, so I don't think it's the wrong makeup. Do you use primer? Does it work? If so, what brand do you recommend?
Thanks!

Yes I use Bare Minerals too like Love My Boys. I use Prime Time By Bare Minerals! Awesome stuff and yes a primer does help make the make-up stay on longer and more evenly with less cracks! :)
Primer is the best. Came across it in a set of samples years ago and thought it was just magical! I use Sei Bella brand and LOVE it! What a difference it makes - makeup just looks better and fresher all day long. Highly recommend.
I love Bare Minerals and when I used it, I made my own primer using the makeup.
I took a little bit of lotion and mixed it in my palm with just a tiny bit of my powder foundation and then it made primer. It worked great! You should give it a try and see if it helps. That way you dont have to go out and buy anything else. You have everything you need :)
I found out about using Monistat Anti-chafing gel as a primer on another board. It is not the Monistat for yeast infections but the one you would use after shaving, etc. It has the same ingredient as primers and is a lot cheaper.
BE (Bare Escentuals) has a primer. I like the Brightening face primer. Do you use the BE eye colors? There is also eye primer, regular, brightening and now colors of primers. Do you get your BE at a boutique or online (from QVC, Sephora, Macy, Ulta, etc.)?
Some foundations have a built-in primer-i.e."Hourglass Veil"-you can get it at Sephora
