Hi, I'm looking for a good pediatric dentist within my insurance group. The following are names from my insurance. Just checking to see if any of you know them or have had experience with them. Thanks for your help!
Dr. Jeffery Goldenberg, W. Bloomfield
Dr. Farah Khan, Livonia
Dr. Michael O'Riordan, Warren

So What Happened?

I ended up taking my girls to Dr. O'Riordan's office and saw the female dentist. The entire office was great. The girls had a good time and they know customer service to a T. I highly recommend the pediatric dental center.

See if Dr. Marc Steingold is on that list, he isn't only pedatric, but my kids look forward to going there almost as much as they would look forward to going to an amusement park!! They love him and the hygenists that work there!! They are all great with children. He is located in Eastpointe on Gratiot!!

About six months ago, I took my 3 & 4 year old to Dr. Jeffery Goldenberg. I do not plan to bring them back. He noticed my 3 year old has some cavities. Instead of filling them himself, he referred me to someone else. Apparently, he does routine visits, but defers to others for any add'l work. He explained that he normally gets the kids who won't cooperate for other dentists. As a working mom, it is hard to make multiple appts.

But, honestly...I didn't think he had a very good bed side manner. He was clearly uncomfortable with me staying with my sons while they had their teeth cleaned. And several friends tell me their dentist offers different flavor flouride...Dr. Goldenberg did not. Not a big deal...but overall, they were not very "kid" friendly for a pediatric dentist. But...maybe I got him on a bad day. In the end, I'm sure he is a good dentist...but I plan to keep looking for a long term dentist. Hope that helps.

I have met Dr. Goldenberg and he is ok. I love Dr. Golnick and Assoc. My daughter has been seeing Dr. Michelle Tiberia?? for 8 years, and my 3 y.o. son has been seeing her for 2 years and they both love her. They have two offices, one is located in W. Bloomfield. I don't know where the other one is located.

Dr. O'Riordan was my pediatric dentist and orthodontist! He was amazing and I loved him. He took me all the way until college when I finally had to grow up and find an "adult" dentist. Thanks to him I hav e beautiful teeth (I wouldn't have...I started out needing a lot of work at age 7). He is a very kind and gentle dentist!

I've heard that Dr. Goldenberg is superb. My pediatric dentist is actually Dr. Amy Parker (Southfield) who is just extraordinary. But I've heard nothing but good things about him.

Good luck and take care!
