Does anyone know where I can find used clothes for a baby girl? MY daughter is going on 5 months and is growing so fast. Or if anyone has some stuff they are looking to part with, it would be greatly appreciated.

What can I do next?

I've used Zearly a dozen or so times and LOVE it. Works out great because it helps me get rid of the clothes I have and, like Heather said below, it helps make room for more in my closet for what I need!

Ora, I have a garage full(Well...Full enough) of clean and neat children's clothing. I would love to part with as much as possible. Also have cribs and other items. These items were donated and are summer wear. I may have some fall items as well. Please contact me at your convenience.

There are several thrift stores in the Oak Park area. Even though it is closed for the summer, the Economy Shop in Oak Park is good. Check your local paper and visit some rummage sales or garage sales - you can usually find infant clothing in good condition - because like you said - they grow fast!!

Once Upon A Child is a great place to find nice, good quality & in good-shape used clothes for kids. They also buy stuff from you - so once you're done w/ it, you can get money to buy more stuff you do need!! Garage sales are pretty good. I've gotten stuff on eBay at a very good price. The problem w/ that is that you cannot see/touch the items and you have to be careful that the vendor has good reputation (got burned only once!!).

Good luck!

There are tons of clothes listed on chicago.craigslist.org under baby/kid stuff. Also, garage sale season is upon us and there are always a great lot of clothes at the ones I stop by... Don't know where you live, but I've also heard the Community Nurse thrift stores (there is one in LaGrange) are great for gently used clothing.

I have some beautiful baby clothes for a girl that have never even been worn. The winter things are 12 months that have been washed but due to the size, my baby was never able to wear during the right time of the year. You can contact me via email if you are interested. I am in Chicago and my email is ____@____.com.

There is a store called Once Upon a Child that sells used clothes. The only one i know about is in a strip mall on Foster and Milwaukee avenues in Chicago. You may want to look in the phone book to see if there are other locations. Good Luck!

You can trade the things she's outgrown for other gently used clothes at www.Zearly.com They'll send you a prepaid bag to fill, have UPS pick it up, and credit your account with points that you can use towards clothing or gift certificates at stores like Target and Amazon. I can't tell you how much I LOVE this site! I've got twins and can't keep up with the clothes they go through. This has really saved me and my closets.
