What is she into? Does she like crafts? Does she have a favorite store that she likes?...You could always get her a gift card. Does she like sewing? At that age, I would have loved a sewing machine....If she's into technology, maybe get her a gift card to Bestbuy or something. I loved gift cards as kid. :) It seems like all kids around that age are into something different. Just know what she likes and get it or ask her what she would like for Christmas...

My daughter was 2 months younger than the one you're talking about and for that Christmas I bought her tons of clothes and books, her wish. I bought a couple of pairs of flannel pj's, a robe, slippers, tops, pants, underwear, sock, boots, a couple of hoodies...and two boxed sets of books. I filled her stocking with toiletries, candies and other goodies.

My daughter is really just starting to get into her personal appearance. So any kind of modest make-up, nail polish, nail stickers, face glitter, etc. is good.

She also loves art and all things crafty.

She's gonna be a Tween.

What does she like?
Go according to that.
They are fickle at this age and with changing preferences.
Gift cards is always liked by this age.
To places/stores that they, like.

Or, simply ask her to make a "list" of things she likes or is hoping for.
