Hello!

Does anyone know of a good way to mail oreo cookie balls? Should I mail them out right after I make them - or is it better to freeze them, then mail them? We are wanting to surprise our mothers for mothers day so we thought this sweet treat would be great - our little ones will have so much fun making these! : )

I am just not sure how to mail them? Should I place them in a tin canister, then inside a tight box?

Thanks so much

What can I do next?

I don't think you should mail them...They are the cream cheese oreo truffles right? I think they need to stay chilled or they will go bad. I'd make something else if you are mailing them.

After they are cooled, Id wrap them each in plastic wrap or Press n Seal, and put them in an egg carton. You can send 18 in an 18 count egg carton and they will stay in their own little spot. wrap the egg carton in foil and put in a box to mail. Send priority mail and it will get there fast. Yum, nice fresh cookies individually wrapped! If I give you my address will you send me some? (o:

My main concern would be: If they get too warm, they pretty much melt into a pile of goo......... Oreo balls REALLY need to stay chilled.

when sending cookies to my brother stationed over seas my parents vaccumed sealed the cookies and the bubbled wrapped them, but if they are a gift, why not place them in a nice tin before shipping them off the they are less likely to get crushed
