We love it and I actually like their customer service. What a huge change from Comcast! I would be willing to pay more just for a customer service center that I can deal with!
Do you have it and love it? Looking to switch from Time Warner and want to know your experience. They said they raise their rates annually......is this true?

I have it and DON'T love it. We had to change from Time Warner because of moving to a new house, and I miss TW a lot. I work from home and my service drops out a lot which it never did with TW. Customer service with TW was always excellent as well. I cannot say the same for U-Verse.
I thought that it was just a bundle with directv... I think that's who the carrier is and (i'm pretty sure) when you sign up (if you do like right now) that directv has a 2-3 year price-lock.. I think they said they could save me $10 on my bill if we bundled but we didn't want to mess with it since we already had directv and at&t separately.. You could probably call the 800 number and ask though.. they have to be upfront with you.
We have it and love it - I wouldn't change it unless their rates went crazy high. If you sign up under a promotion, they will try and raise your rates when it's over, but call them and tell them that unless they can keep the same rate that a new customer would be paying, you want to cancel. I've had my bill lowered even more than before when I do this. Their customer service is difficult to get on the line sometimes and you'll hold for awhile, but it's not bad.
I HATED U-Verse. Matter of fact, we had them pull it out about a month after installing it! Now, I will also qualify that we have an older home and it wasn't wired well which can be an issue with U-Verse. The picture quality was bad, everything. We do have family members who love theirs. I think it has to do with the way our house was wired. Talk with the installers prior to the install if you house is older.
Yes we have it. I wouldn't use the word love. I do like some of the features but honestly it has some really goofy quirks. The remote to the dvr does some odd things such as changing the channel when you are pushing the pause button, muting the tv when you push the info button. Now they always act as if they have no idea what I'm talking about when I call about it but I have a friend that has the same issues. It is not the remote, had that replaced a couple of times. Their advice is always reset the router. Ugh. So we are keeping ours until shows go into rerun mode (can't take a chance of missing episodes, teehee) and then possible looking back into directv or dish network, loved both of those.
We do and we love it. We have had Comcast Cable, Direct TV and now ATT U-Verse. We haven't had any issues at all. The price was so much less than Direct TV and they wouldn't match the price so we switched we also have all the movie channels and it is still a lower price.
We have it - switched from Time Warner three years ago. We love it - and have never had any of the problems mentioned below. And our rates have never gone up (at least not so far...)
