I've been down, headachy, can't get over sickness, etc. As it turns out my hormone levels are really low. Anyone use bioidentical hormone replacement? It seems a little scary at my age, but then again, so does not having the proper hormones. I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with this, how long it took you to feel better, etc. Thanks

K.

Hi K.,
If you prefer a more natural approach you might like Women in balance, from Herbal Healer. It is free to become a member. http://www.herbalhealer.com/women.html This is the just for women page, but there is a drop down menu, if you want to check out other items also. The company is in Mountain View, AR. and owned and operated by ND Marijah McCain.
Good luck, and God bless, K.

I dont have any experience with Bio-Identical hormones, but I can tell you that after my second birth my hormones were out of wack too! I actually used an estrogen cream in my va-jay-jay... and I literally used it twice! It seemed to kick my body back to what I needed to be creating.
My case may be totally different... but I want to just assure you that you are okay. Sometimes our bodies just need a little extra boost to get over a hump. If you need them to get back on track... I would encourage it.

Hi K.,
I'm not sure exactly where you are located, by at my Gyno's office they offer the Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement. The office is right next to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. It's in the Medical Plaza. It's called For Women Only www.forwomanonlyob.com or org (can't remember). Anyway, see if your insurance is covered at their office. I haven't had to deal with issues of hormone replacement, but with them, they are VERY thorough. Dr. Mirable is the head doc there. I've heard he's very nice. I see a midwife called Bridgete Webb. She's pretty cool. Anyway, give them a call and see what they can do for you. Their phone number is ###-###-####. I hope this helps!
