I did stroller strides last summer and it was AWESOME! I'm not sure about "restore the core" but I loved myclass and lost a ton of weight and toned up.
Hey moms I was wondering if anyone has tried the stroller fit classes, particularly the "Restore the Core" class? I am about five pounds away from my pre-prego weight (woohoo!) but I still LOOK pregnant. I mean seriously I could pass for being pregnant. I am pretty thin naturally so with my pooch I have been asked once or twice when I'm due. So embarassing (my daughter is 13 months old!) I was wondering how well the Restore the Core classes worked? Or anything you have been sucessfull with? I am doing Slim in Six and do Turbo Jam's Ab Jam video two or three times a week but I must not be doing the abwork correctly. I can feel it, but I mostly feel it right under my ribs or between my ribs. I try and I try to do the moves correctly and I can feel them working, but five minutes later I am not sore. When my husband does ab work with me he feels it for a day or two. It also really hurts my lower spine to do the reverse crunches and such on the floor.....I feel like I'm laying flat on my spine. Hope this makes sense and I am looking forward to any great suggestions! Thanks!
***Oh....I also do not want to pay a whole lot of money so I was wondering if Restore the Core is worth the money. Thanks!

Baby Bootcamp worked really well for me! Hopefully there is one in your area.

I also took pilates classes through my gym that helped a lot.
I did StrollerFit when our second child was younger. Restore the Core wasn't around then (at least, I haven't heard of it). StrollerFit is not a casual, hey, let's walk around type workout. It's a tough workout and you will leave feeling like you've had a workout. We did do ab work as part of the routine, including push ups, which are one of the best ab toners out there.
For the cost of joining StrollerFit, though, you might consider meeting with a personal trainer who can help you refine your routine and get results.
Do air punching bags. Tighten your abs and punch - multiple times on one side and back and forth. Lean a little on your legs as you get going. Faster is better. You'll feel it in your abs (and glutes).
I was doing P90X after my 2nd child until I found out that I was prego again. The ab ripper is amazing, and I could see results super quick. It is something that your husband could do too! Just a thought! Good luck!
