Nursing Mom Trying to Get Baby in His Own Bed!

I have a newborn well he is almost two months and I am nursing him. For his naps I can get him into his bassinet, but at night trying to get him to go to sleep in it is hard. I try to nurse him, and put in. He will fall asleep but only to wake up 15 min later. So I get in to my bed nurse him and fall asleep togther. What Do You Really Need for an Infant?

So it's been 8 years since I last had a baby to care for. I am expecting again and am at a loss for what I really need and trying to prioritize. I have looked at many registries and think they include a lot of frivolous items (wipe warmers ect) So if you could go back in time and know then what you know now, what are your must have items. I think I may have a unique problem that is a combination of breastfeeding, swaddling, sleep, and sanity... My 5 month old daughter Isabella was never a great sleeper.
