What Is Your 4 Year Old Learning in Preschool??

I just went to parent teacher conferences for my 4 year old in preschool.. They tested her and she knows her letters, numbers, colors, shapes,, can count to 31 etc.. she has december birthday so she has another year of preschool before she starts kindergarden. Her current class is a 3 4 class.. she can stay in this class next year. I am wondering what she will learn in this class and what she should be learning? I dont know of any preschools that teach reading .. even if she was ready to learn.. most of the class would not be.. ...

4 Year Old Behavior

I am wondering if any of you have experienced some of these characteristics with your 4 year old (I have a boy). He can't stand tags in his clothing, socks are too tight, pants are too tight (even though they are not.....), no long sleeve shirts (can't stand them!). Behaviors he has are: tantrums....screaming, yelling, and hitting the bedroom door...etc... when we are transitioning him from one thing to the next...and he is not happy about the next event. We also are hearing from others that he is bugging other kids who are next to him...

How Do I Begin to Teach My 3 Year Old His Letters?

Hello, I need help teaching my almost 3 year old his ABC's. He can say his ABC's, but as far as letter recognition goes, he has no interest. How do I begin? I tried a few things, but he is not interested at all! I want to start teaching him letters, and I'm not giving up, but I need something that works. Please help! :)

Any advice on starting a cuuriculum for my 3 year old. I'm a SAHM and our budget is slim, right now I can't afford to get him into half day preschool. The least expensive I've found is $95 a week. Whiz Kid Pc by Vtech or Other Computer Games for 3 Year Olds.

I am looking into VTech and Leap Frog for my son who will be 3 in November. I didn't find much in his age group from Leap Frog, but I did find The Whiz Kid PC by VTech. I don't want to spend the money on it if he is too young. I was wondering if anyone had this or something similar that they like for their kids. I really don't want to buy something that has to hook up to the TV, the computer is fine. Do you know of any good computer games for this age? Thanks for your help.
