Potty Training My Son

I would like to start potty training my son. Im not sure if its to early to start but He tells me when he poops in his diaper. Right now he is 21 months old. He knows how to flush the toliet. When I go to sit him on the potty he screams and crys. Do you ladies think I should wait a few more months than try again?When I go to the bathroom and he goes in there with me and gets some toliet paper and acts like hes wiping him self. I do have a potty chair. I have had it for a whyle no. I have it in his room that he runs too when he goes poop....
