Hi, you may be interested in the HEB MOMS� Club! I am this chapters President and I have included lots of info below and my contact info at the bottom.
The International MOMS� Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the support of stay-at-home mothers. Our Hurst Euless Bedford chapter also accepts working moms and work at home moms. We offer a variety of weekly activities like park days and playgroups. On a monthly basis we have our Moms Night Out, Couples Night, and Family Day. The International MOMS� Club is very strict regarding our boundaries and we are not allowed to accept any members that do not live in Hurst, Euless, or Bedford. If this pertains to you we can help you locate a chapter near you or even help you start your own!
What will you gain from the HEB MOMS� Club?
FRIENDSHIP - There is no better way to meet and make friends with other moms in our community! By attending some of our many monthly activities and by joining one of our many playgroups, you and your children will no doubt make many friends.
NEWSLETTER - Our monthly newsletter will keep you informed about club activities and issues, and scheduled events around town.
YAHOO GROUP - We have a Yahoo! Group for the HEB MOMS� Club that you will be invited to join when you become a member. Members can use the group to ask questions, exchange useful information and receive recommendations on a variety of topics. We also use it to remind members of activities, conduct polls, and post pictures.
Starting in July we are also working to bring you:
SUPPORT SERVICES - A Support Services Coordinator who organizes support for our members and their families in many different ways. Supporting each other is what the MOMS� Club is all about!
BABYSITTING CO-OP - Joining a Babysitting Co-op may give you some much needed time off! The Co-op is a group of members who baby-sit each other's children on a reciprocal basis.
HOOT COMMITTEE - The idea of HOOT (Husbands Out Of Town) is for us to support each other while our husbands are away. Let the HOOT Committee Coordinator know when your husband will be out of town, and she will let you know if there are other moms in our club whose husbands have overlapping travel dates so you can call each other and plan to get together if you would like.
If the HEB MOMS� Club is what you have been looking for you are welcome to come to our General Meeting. It gives visitors a chance to meet other members and learn more about playgroups to see if it is right for you. Our General Meetings are at 10:00 am on the 1st Wednesday of the month at St. Paul First United Methodist Church of Hurst, which is located at 852 W Bedford Euless Rd. Park in the front and enter in through the glass double doors. After you have had the experience of meeting our members and their children, we will offer you the opportunity to join our chapter. We offer low membership dues that help cover administrative costs, parties, activities, and our national dues.
