I thought about this for a bit, and realized I had no concrete idea why. Everyone knows this from experience (that they itch), but why do scabs actually itch?

What can I do next?

When I had surgeries and my incision itched (the scar) my doctors told me it was because my nerves were all bothered from the incision and it was part of the healing process. I would assume same for any kind of cut as it heals ... one to ask a doctor I think :)
