B..
Well, I have old Navy shirts that have lasted for years. They key, is not to dry them. I hang them dry, not lay them flat. (The necks always curled when I laid them flat, not sure why!)
I'm SO tired of buying cute t-shirts (usually from Gap, Old Navy or Kohl's) and having them lose shape after only a couple washes. Gap and Old Navy seem to be notorious for this with their V-Necks, it seems one side of the V always ends up crinkling/won't lay flat. It drives me nuts! I just want some good tees that will last a few years. Is that too much to ask?

Eddie Bauer t-shirt brand that still looks good year after year.
If you believe Michael Jordan, it's Hanes! lol No really, they are good as my son and husbands undershirts and to for me to work out in.
For my expensive t-shirts, I do a quick tumble in the dryer then lay flat.
LLBean has the best t-shirts. I love the v-neck style too! I have t-shirts from LLBean that are more than 15 years old and still look brand new. The only thing that makes it look old is that the inside tag is faded to the point you can't read it anymore. The color is still the same as when I first bought them. They don't shrink and the neck doesn't stretch out. Simply a great purchase for your money. Both the Bean's Tees and the Bean's Pima Cotton Tees are great! There are lots of color choices, and there are different stlye tees as well.
Look for shirts that have some spandex in them - seriously the best v-neck ever was from walmart I bought on vacation on a whim and I serously love it and noticed that as opposed to a lot of the others I have, that is the one thing different.
I also like hanes shirts. They make SO MANY styles. hit up hanes.com to see all the cute women's shirts they have.
Best of luck in your pursuit of the perfect T!
Michael Stars.. You ll pay up, but they last a long time and wash well too..
Yeah, those Old Navy and Gap are just cheap. I like the men's printed Tees as a workout shirt, but that is it... everything else just gives out completely and looks sloppy..
