Hi Mamas!

I figured out a way to replicate no slip hair clips. However, I need VELVET ribbon and very suprisingly, Joann Fabrics and Michael's have little selection. Any shops or links? Thanks!

p.s I am thinking of selling them on Ebay and seriously undercutting the no slippy people (seriously, how can they justify charging NINE dollars per clip)?...whatcha think? Good idea?)

ADDED: Jennifer, THANK YOU for the advice!! Luckily we have a patent attorney that is a friend of the family's....I will be sending him an email today...I would NEVER want to open myself up to lawsuits! Thanks again for the heads-up! :)

What can I do next?

You might want to consult with an intellectual property attorney prior to selling them on ebay. "Patent pending" means they get an exclusive right to sell them. If, however, you are not using the exact method they are to make them, you might be able to do it. Before going into business, have an attorney check it out.

I was also going to suggest Pat Catan's.
