My husband and I have done a wheat grass shot every morning for the last year. We both think we feel more energized in the morning. You can buy cheaper wheat grass powder, and I think it works just as good.
I am looking for personal experiences as to how they make you feel after taking a wheat grass shot and how often do you have one?
I purchased the weat grass powder and add it to my green smoothie every morning. Thanks ladies!

Good morning Eagles---I've tried wheatgrass from time to time but never really made it a part of my daily routine. I do know that there a many healthful benefits to wheat grass but I've also learned, from a series of classes I've taken taught by a Naturopath, that it is the totality of the diet and lifestyle habits that determine your health outcomes. There is no magic silver bullet, the one thing that research shows has an impact on minimizing disease is a diet of mostly fruits, veggies, whole grains, legumes/beans, nuts and seeds. Eliminate dairy and minimize animal protein consumption.
Based on research by T Colin Campbell published in the bood The China Study (an easy read and highly recommended if you want to take control of your health) it is best to have 85-90% of your calories from plants and the rest can be from animals....UNLESS you already suffer from some sort of degenerative disease, and then it is best to be vegetarian/vegan.
You can learn a lot about this research backed advice at www.pcrm.org. Please feel free to contact me if you want any additional info. I'd be happy to share the concepts I've learned from the Naturopath who has her PhD in Nutrition. In any case, good luck with any decision that you make. Be well, D.
Sometimes i have one with my husband. The best way i can describe it is its a little shot of healthy.
