What New Shows Are You Watching???

Alcatraz, Grimm, Once Upon a Time are the main new shows we're glued to (Alcatraz to a lesser extent).

Love Mike and Molly, Switched at Birth, American Pickers and American Idol. Once summer hits I will be glued to True Blood...Love the drama & fantasy about the show!

I also just recently got into "Downton Abbey." In my opinion it is the best thing on TV right now, and VERY clean. Season 1 is available on Netflix, and Season 2 can be seen online at PBS.org or you can catch the current episodes every Sunday night on PBS.

In April my other favorite returns--"Game of Thrones" on HBO. It is a fantasy-fiction genre masterpiece (but I'm SOOO not the type to get into that kind of stuff.) Awesome writing, compelling story, great acting. A ton of sex, but I cover my eyes and wait for it to get over :) Season 1 is on On Demand right now.

Last Man Standing....we love Tim Allen!

Right now we're watching The Tudors, Idiot Abroad, and The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Maragaret. That's all we "look for" right now, unless we just come across something interesting re: history, nature, or science.
Prophets of Science Fiction is interesting though: we watched the one about H.G. Wells last night while waiting for The Tudors to start. Really enjoyed that.
And we're WAITING AND WAITING for some word on when the FINAL season for Breaking Bad begins. We've got all 4 seasons on DVD now, and it's been "official" that season 5 is the final one, but we have no idea when it will start. The best show ever. I strongly suggest to those that have picked up watching Breaking Bad to rent or netflix it so you can see it from Season 1 on....the show doesn't really mean as much if you don't see WHY everything is happening now. My dad was like "it's ok" when he started on season 3 and I forced him to watch the first 3 episodes of season 1, and now he's totally hooked.

I love things on PBS.
Other than that, my favorite I am waiting to return is Mad Men.

Breaking Bad is pretty good. I didn't start watching it in the beginning, but I really like it.

Thanks to Hulu I have already seen the first episode of Touch!

The River - I watched the first two, I always try to give a show 3 before dismissing it but I think it's too out there and quite frankly a bit stupid - not a fan of paranormal activity and those are the guys involved in The River - and I like the Paranormal in general.

Of the newer shows...I'm hooked on Revenge! Also like 2 Broke Girls and Happy Endings

I am addicted to Parks and Recreation with Amy Poehler! Several of the seasons are on Netflix and Hulu. We just recently dumped FIOS TV and hubby set up a media center so most of our stuff is watched via antenna, Netflix, Hulu, Kylo etc. I just started watching season 1 of Up All Night with Christina Applegate, so far it is pretty funny. Other things I have started watching:

Last Man Standing
The Office (always!)
Thinking about checking out Big Bang Theory too, lots of friends like it.

We also enjoy person of interest.
Breaking Bad is new for us. We watched all the episodes on Netflix and were addicted! Now we have several friends that started watching it and were also immediately addicted. One couple said they cannot watch it sitting down because it is so intense.

i thought it said "news shows" lol.

we watch New Girl, Bones, American Idol, Big Bang Theory, those are the main ones.

I, however not my husband, am IN LOVE with Once Upon a Time. Unfortunately it's on at the same time as animation domination (ugh) so if there is a football game on or anything else at that time (we can only record 2 things) i've been watching it online. LOVE LOVE LOVE that show! i'm so addicted lol.

We don't get cable, only netflix so some of the shows are a little older:

I love "the River" It's scary but not gory and I like the story line too.
I've been wanting to watch "person of interest" but have no time even if I tivo'ed it.

that's about it, maybe house hunters on hgtv but that's rarely.

The Voice! I like it because the contestants are often already professional singers, so instead of cringing half the time like I would with other talent shows, I get to enjoy good performances.

i don't watch new shows cuz i hate commercials, so wait for them to come out on dvd. i'm eagerly awaiting game of thrones, grimm, once upon a time. i love walking dead, raising hope, dexter, nurse jackie, luther. i'm collecting lots of great ideas for future ones from this thread, thanks!

Hooked on Once Upon a Time, Revenge, Grimm, Alcatraz. Watched the pilot of Touch - not sure of that one yet but I'm leaning towards it. I think I might have to check out The River. As if I really need another one to get hooked on...lol

Just finished Downton Abbey, Season 1. Gotta, gotta, gotta watch Season 2 now...I hope they're playing reruns on PBS.

Only shows I keep up with are Walking Dead and Hell on Wheels.

I dont see any votes for Ringer. It is really good.
