I'm wondering what helps you get out of a funk.

No real worries or complaints, just feeling LOST in Mommyhood.

I like to workout to get all of those frustrations out. Or I usually take some "me" time - either a walk or I drive around a scenic route.

I read a book called Angels of a Lower Flight about a former playboy model turned humanitarian. She spent all of her time and money in Haiti helping the children who had been discarded because of their disabilities or diseases. After reading that, whenever I'm having a pity party for myself I think "I'm having a bad day for an American, but a great day for a Haitian when I've got food, clothing, and a home."

go to the gym, I volunteer at an animal shelter,play on the computer (especially facebook), watch mindless reality shows, and talk to a friend that always cheers me up..
