i haven't been clubbing in over 3 years and have 15 more lbs on my frame. what should i wear?? i'm freaking out b/c all of the girls going to my friend's bachelorette party are single (or at least not moms) who are in the fashion industry and skinny. panic attack!! lol. i'm thinking:

- skinny jeans + knee high, high heel boots + nice top

i'm having trouble envisioning the top - sleveless seems appropriate for clubbing but 40 degree sounds cold to me right now. lol. what do u think? should i wear a short dress/skirt instead??

What can I do next?

No Little Black Dress? With a shrug if it's cold? It is a dance club, or a dirt floor HoDown?

:)

(And if you're ONLY 15 lbs up, it's gonna be ok girl!)

I think your outfit sounds perfect, but I would rather chew my arm off than go clubbing!

Your outfit with the jeans, boots, top sounds cute. Get some adorable accessories and purse and you are set! Who cares what anyone else looks like. I saw a post on someones facebook and it was a picture of a woman's stomach and it had stretch marks on it which they called "tiger stripes from giving birth". It reminded me that while I may not have the perfect body, I can be reminded that my kids are worth the "tiger stripes". Not saying you were going to wear a midriff shirt but if you are only 15lbs from where you want to be, that is pretty good! Have fun!

Depends on where you're going. I, personally, have never worn jeans to a club HERE, but DC clubs are a whole different scene. I think in LA once I got in a club wearing flip flops... I swear I don't go out hardly at all, but when I visit (single) friends, we always do.

The outfit you describe sounds fine for a club in LA (I'm assuming the party is near you). It won't be 40 inside and a large group of attractive women shouldn't have to wait outside TOO long. Throw on some very cute overstated jewelery and you'll be all set.

I am not familiar with this "clubbing" that you speak of.....maybe because I haven't been OUT in 10 years. LOL
Your outfit sounds fine.

Haven't been clubbing in ages, unless I'm clubbing my 6 yo over the head (jk), but what you've suggested sounds right on for LA clubs. Stick w/ dark jeans, they're dressier. And if you'll be dancing, keep your top light or you'll end up sweating. Have fun!

The short skirt in cold weather is a neon sign in club land = "I need to get laid. Bad. Desperate.".

Presumably, you already ARE getting laid, so stick with "Property Of" jeans instead.

I think your outfit idea sounds super cute, especially with some accessories to sparkle it up. Around here I can get by with jeans and a sweatshirt but the drunks at the bar might hassle me for not dressing like a "working woman"
:P

Last time I was at a club (bachelorette party too) I was 9 months pregnant, I wore a tent, lol.

I like what you picked out; skinny jeans, boots, nice top. Have fun

Hmmm - I haven't been clubbing in 8 yrs now. Ouch. Back in the day in Vegas though, I wouldn't have worn jeans. It really depends on what type of club you are going to. I think your best bet is to ask all of your friends what they are wearing. If jeans are in, then go for it. Maybe you can google the club and check out pics of what others are wearing to give you a better idea? Either way - have fun!!!

Honestly, it depends on where you are going, you could always get a small sweater that you can check for walking to/from the car unless you are getting a limo then it matters not.
