Here's what I find decreases MY energy levels...
depression
change in weather
change in life experiences
lack of sleep
I recently had my blood work done and found out that, not only am I menapausal (early stages) but I have high blood pressure...YAY ME!
But everything else was perfect.
So starting with the menapausal stuff, I started taking soy as a way to boost my energy and started on meds for the blood pressure.
I have more energy now that I've started on the soy than I have in a LONG time. Also, I started leaving the dishes in the dishwasher or letting that floor go one more day without vacuuming in order to get back on a decent sleep schedule. IT HAS MADE A HUGE difference in how much energy I have during the day.
I didn't know how tired I was until i started sleeping again. I went from brain damage (literally forgetting things and not being able to hold a thought if I tried) to being able to think clearer and actually go up a flight of stairs without feeling like my heart was about to explode.
Now, my blood pressure is still HIGH...and I'm on meds for that...but I'd sincerely suggest blood work then some supplements to help things along.
If depression is the problem, by all means, it's not a sign of weakness to get on some AD to get you through the rough times.
I know how ya feel and wish you nothing but good ENERGIZING things!!
