We are considering moving from Chicago to Oak Park or River Forest for the schools; which elementary school or schools have the best services? (OT/PT/Speech, etc.)

What can I do next?

I do know that Hatch (Northeast OP) has great services.

Also, if you are looking for additional services outside of school, Kids Unlimited Therapy in OP has excellent therapists.

I would call and talk to somone. I know that most of the gramer schools are requried to have the services avialable, but not sure who the best are.

Don't know about RF as we live in Oak Park. I've been very pleased with the OP schools generally. Both of my kids did speech through the school and I was very happy with the results. The District 97 schools share support staff so there's no one best school in the district. The only exception, I believe is the self contained classrooms are in Whittier, I think.

I hoping to get answers hear to, my son has an extra chromosome, trilogy 21, he special need is love and care. The school system might call, classify it as something else, but I was considering moving too. We are 20 year homeschooler. He is my youngest and he is five. I would love for him to go to school. Where he is in a less crowded, loving environment.
Excited to see What is shared.
