I have been getting like achy feeling on my forehead. When it is cold or I am in the sun my forehead aches. It almost feels like a arthritis pain. I have had it for a year now. It all started after I got diagnosed with a hiatal hernia and I didn't/couldn't eat for 2 months. I couldn't eat before I was diagnosed with it my Dr just made me stay on acid reflux meds for the 2 months and then finally let me see a GI dr. I don't get what could be going on. It is right where my sinuses are and that is it. Any clues. Thanks.

What can I do next?

Do you have a lot of sinus problems? Most sinus headaches can make your forehead or area right between your eyes, through your nose and cheek area ache. When I am achy in these areas I use a nasal spray (rhinocort-prescription strength) and it clears it right up. Maybe try an OTC nasal spray to see if it helps?
There are all kinds of reasons headaches come on. Sometimes taking certain pain meds (like excederin) regularly can cause recurring headaches. Usually headaches that happen in front of the head are related to sinus or tension. Is it possible you could be dehydrated? That can cause headaches too. I sometimes drink a tall glass of ice cold water and put an ice pack or cold compress on my forehead. That usually gets rid of it without having to take any pain meds.Hope this helps!

I think you need to see a doctor for this. If something is going on with your head, this isn't related to a GI issue, you need either an ENT or a neurologist. None of us here can diagnose you, you need a doctor.

It sounds to me like it could be a sinus problem. Maybe you have allergies you are unaware of. I would see a doctor- a different doc, if it were me. I don't have a lot of faith in a doctor that would make you wait 2 MONTHS to see a GI doctor when you were unable to eat! I had the same problem, and my doctor sent me to the gastroenterologist pretty much right away. I can't imagine suffering like that for 2 months! Ask people you know for recommendations. If you are friends with nurses, start there- they usually know who the good ones are ;) Hope you feel better soon :)

Could it be a side effect from the medication?
