My project was to remove the wallpaper in my daughter's bathroom but this project is taking too much of my time. Any referrals for someone to come in and remove it for me at a reasonable price. I am in the coppell area.

Thanks
R.

Roopah,

In the future, or even now, if you haven't done any damage to the wall. You can prime over the paper w/ an oil-based primer, like Kilz original, then texture right over it. SO much easier than trying to pull it.

If you do continue to work at it though, do a small amount of fabric softener to water, then rinse the wall off really well w/ warm water to get any of the adhiesive glue & fab. soft. off the wall before you paint or wehatever....

Hey R.,
Try mixing fabric softner and water in a spray bottle. Spray on a leave for a few minutes and it should peel off.
Hope this helps,
L.

you can just texture over the wall paper. You may still be able to do it if your wall is not damaged. It is soo much easier!

I just used a hand-held steamer to steam off the wallpaper in our entryhall. In a bathroom it would likely wrk really well after a hot bath or shower let the walls get wet/steamy from that, then use the steamer to lift and separate the glue. it took me about 2 hours to do a 10X4 foot hallway.
