My family and I are trying to play our summer vacation. We need recommendations for resorts either in Door Country, WI or Elkhart Lake, WI, or near Madison, WI. We need a 3 bedroom/2bathroom condo or villa. We would prefer it be part of a resort with activities for the kids, a pool, hot tub etc... If anyone has had a great experience at a particular place, please let me know! Please also let me know if you've had a terrible experience anywhere as well. Thanks in advance!!
We stayed at a nice hotel called the Waterbury (sp?) It has a pool/hot tub inside and a nice big pool outside. Just down the road is a drive in movie theatre and shopping in each town. We had a downstairs room with a small kitchen and a deck looking towards the woods. Very nice. There is a playground area too. There is a beach not too far also. I love door County!

I can help! We stayed at a wonderful rustic resort in Door County called Little Sister Resort several years ago. It wasn't all that expensive, had kids activities, a dining hall for breakfast, a beach bar for lunch/dinner, individual cabins - some with multiple bedrooms, and a beach. It might have had a pool... I'm not sure. It was a lovely little place, and reminded me of all of the movies from the 1950s where families would pack up and go to the Catskills for the summer. www LittleSisterResort .com
We go to The Osthoff in Elkhart Lake every summer. We LOVE it! It is pretty pricey, but it great activities, pools, and of course the beach. Check out their website! We even went there on our honeymoon, so this summer will be our 6th year! The village of Elkart Lake is my most favorite place! It is also only about 30 minutes from Sheboygan, where they have a great children's museum.
