I am moving to Olathe in 4 weeks and am wondering what cable, phone and internet services are provided there. I have searched the web and only found ComCast, is this it? Any help or info is greatly appreciated!

So What Happened?

I appreciate everyone's help. Yes, I will agree Comcast is VERY expensive and was disappointed that Time Warner is not in my area, so I am going to check out Everest and see if they are in my particular area as well as Directv.

Unfortunately, that is the only option for the "trifecta". The service is pretty good but a little expensive in my opinion, what are you gonna do,though?

Everest and Time Warner - we use Time Warner. Everest is still somewhat new to the area, so depending on exactly where in Olathe you are moving to, you may only have certain options (that's the way it is/was in Gardner - just south of Olathe, where I live). Check with your realtor, or whoever you might be working with for your move here.
Good Luck!!! (nfortunately, I think ALL of the cable services/companies are WAY TOO Expensive.)

Yes, Comcast is it unless you use satellite.

Just a suggestion I wish someone had told me.... We moved from Tx in March and transfered our satellite company, Dish network. I was so paranoid about tornadic weather and storms and everytime the darn satellite would go out. We switched to comcast cable (they offer more sports packages which was a selling point for the husband figure) and we have been much happier. We had to pay a "cancelation" fee to get out of our dish contract so be aware. Hope this helps, and best of luck on your move.

You probably won't be able to get Everst either, as all of Olathe is Comcast. They do have some decent deals going on right now though. You can do direct if you can make sure you can hook up the dish in the right place.

Good Luck!
