Hi ladies,
so i gave birth almost three months ago to my beautiful baby girl. Im pretty short; Im 5'3 and was 103 pounds when i became pregnant towards the end i was 146 pounds...most of my weight was belly but i did get alittle weight on me i was using size 7 now im a 3 BUT i have bad strechmarks on my belly area. i used palmers cocoa cream during pregnancy and right after bio oil but honestly i dont know if its goign to work :/
im going back to the gym when i feel confortable leaving the baby at home with daddy for at least an hour. So heres my question; would the gym help strechmarks to go away by getting my abdomen firmed again? does bio oil really works? or time helps to improve the way they look? like i said im very small size so me having almost a 8 pound baby did a lot of damaged on my skin. Thank you for your answers or advice ;)

They're yours for life, hon. Sorry.

Nothing will get rid of them. They'll fade over time, to a silverish color. But they'll always be there.
Welcome to motherhood!

Hate to tell you, but stretch marks will never go away. If they are red right now they will eventually fade, but will not go away.

Stretch marks don't go away, sorry :(
They do fade over time for a lot of people.

I'm 5'1. With baby #2 I got HUGE with him. It was all baby and water. Most people thought I was carrying twins ( go figure he was the smallest of mine in weight, just under 8lbs). Between all 5 my weight has been so up and down. Now that Im done and have lost alot of weight the stretch marks are still there, but they are white and not so noticeable. I have tried creams/ oils etc nothing changed except time fading them.

Sorry to say stretch marks are there to stay. Nothing will remove them. Some products advertise that they remove stretch marks but studies have shown that they do not as you're finding out.

Just enjoy your baby and realize you have been 'marked' by her for life! You are officially a M.. Don't even worry about creams, lotions, etc. It's a waste of money.
