I JUST did this with a red crayon!!! I After trying to iron the spots off, I googled it, and this is what I used that worked: In the washer, Soak in HOT water with 1 cup of white vinegar, 1 Cup of Borax (you can buy it in the laundry aisle by the name 20 Mule Team) and 1 Cup of regular laundry detergent, then wash and do the extra rinse. It worked on everything in the load except a polyester dress of my daughter's (which was thankfully a print). I had jeans, black socks, and a black t shirt in the load. To soak my stuff, I added the detergent and stuff while the washer was filling, swished it around, then added the clothes and left the lid up for an hour, then when I closed it, it ran the regular cycle and the clothes were perfect.

Added: I didn't scrub any of the clothes, and used a Magic Eraser on the dryer insides.

This happened to me twice in a 3 week span. Two loads of clothes were covered in crayon spots. I went to the Crayola website and followed their removal tips and it worked. All I did was first spray all the spots with WD40 and let them soak for about 5 minutes and then used regular dish soap and started to scrub with a wash cloth. Some of the spots came right off, some needed a little elbow grease but 100% of it came off of everything and I had a variety of colors and fabrics in those loads. I now triple check pockets!

This happened to my sister in law, but with red crayon. The Crayola website had a recipe that got it all off and cleaned out the dryer too. Good luck.

Hopefully, you got the crayon off the dryer. On the dryer if it is stuck on try some goof off. I hope it is not on you jeans. I would say see how bad it is dried on there. Is it melted on to the jeans? For the jeans part. I am not quite sure what to to tell you. Good luck

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser in the dryer.

Aqua-Net (or other aerosol) hairspray or WD-40 for the fabric. And then a good wash again in the washer.

It happens!
