I dont understand..do you have a car during the day or not?? If you have a car, then you load them up and go get your son, simple as that. They may or may not be happy, could per chance even cry some, but your son has to be picked up. As for the other errands, while I dont have twins, I have 4 kids under 9, with one on the way, and have taken them out or the kids I babysit out many times. I would say make sure they have both been recently fed and changed, pack a good diaper bag, and go. You will eventually find that it was not as hard as you were afraid it would be. Good luck and have fun!! ~A.~

Hi G.,
My girls are almost 14 months apart and I was afraid to get out much when the second one came. I of course had to get out to do things, but it was something I tried to avoid. I did find that it worked out better than I had thought it would. The main thing is to give yourself the RIGHT amount of time to get places. I read the book called "Breathe." The author stated that it is unrealistic to expect to get in the car to go in five minutes when over and over it takes 20. So, I have been better at planning much earlier to get the children ready and bags packed and such 20 minutes earlier than the norm. It is nice to "eliminate hurry" from my vocabulary. Be gracious to yourself too and realize it is a lot to get out with lil' ones.
