We used Galewood about 2 years ago and were very happy with them. When we had an insulation company come out to help us figure out how to make our home less expensive to heat they actually commented that whoever we had do our tuckpointing did a really good job. They were ver neat as well, which is a big plus for us.

Thanks,
D.

Just a word of advice. We had tuckpointing done about 2 years ago and we have to have it done again. When we sell-if the market ever turns around-we won't be able to say "recently tuckpointed" because some of the stuff cameout! We went with a recommended group of guys. Big mistake. Make sure that whomever you choose, you get some addresses that they have done work at and check them out. A reputable place will be more than happy to give references. And speak to the owners to make sure they were happy with the workers and the job that was done. And if you have colored brick-brown or yellow, ask to approve the mortor color before they move forward. Sometimes they don't add enough and you end up with pink instead of brown. the color won;t be exactly the same since the sun/rain/freezing weather has changed on the existing but should be close. Good Luck

My husband is a mason and works for a company that does tuckpointing (among other things of course). They travel throughout the Chicagoland area. I can have them contact you if you are interested. They are licensed and insured and do a great job.

We also used Arrow just recently and have had a good experience so far. They had pretty good scores on Angie's list, which is where we got their name. Good luck!
