Hi ! I heard that you have a higher chance of girls too but the people that I know that has used Chlomede have gotten both girls and boys and no twins! Good luck- none have had any health issues! Jackie
Has anyone had difficulties getting pregnant and had success with either natural remedies or clomiphene? Does anyone know much about clomiphene, besides the fact that you have an increased chance of multiple births? My doctor suggested I try clomiphene but I was concerned since I read about a possible increased risk of ovarian cancer. I wanted to do things more naturally ie nutrition, herbs, or supplements, if possible but I don't know where to start. I would appreciate any information on either books to read, websites, or alternative health practitioners with experience in fertility issues. Thanks.

Hang in there A.. Good book: "Taking Charge of your Fertility." If your husband smokes or drinks, it's best if he stops. Also, regardless of whether he smokes/drinks, he should be sure to get enough vitamin C and Zinc in his diet or through supplements. We tried for 4 years to conceive my first, but ultimately had to go the medical route (clomid & IUI). After she was born, my husband finally quit smoking and drinking, then lo and behold after just five months of trying my son was conceived naturally. Good luck and do what you can to stay healthy, strong, and positive. Have faith.
Hi! Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs help many women get pregnant. I would recommend trying that first. I have a few friends who had luck with this and didn't have to take any medication to get pregnant. Its very relaxing as well. If you live in the NYC/Brooklyn area I can recommend someone for you. I get acupuncture regularly and had a son in November (although that's not why I go). I believe it was one reason I got pregnant so easily. Good luck!
Try going on www.Justmommies.com in the board section, there is a great bunch of girls on their and one board deciated to the use of trying to conceive with clomid as well as other meds, they would be great resources for you
Hello A.,
I'm in the same boat as you are....I'm 30 and trying for a 2nd child. I was given this website http://www.babyhopes.com/ovulation-calendar/index.html you can enter in the start of your period and it will tell you when you're most fertile and you can even purchase kits that will tell you when you're ovulating and such. I'm going to get one of those kits and also try to follow their calander. Good luck with it!
My friend gave me a book called "Taking Charge of your Fertility." It's simple and straightforward, and I highly recommend it.
Hi A.,
I know that trying to conceive can be very difficult and emotionally draining. I have a reproductive anomoly myself called uterus didelphus...I have 2 uteri! I am a freak of nature! LOL!
But on a lighter note, I can help make your conceiving experience with your husband be more fun again...because I know it can be very stressful. You should try to have fun with sex again and let nature take it's course. I sell sensual oils, lotions, creams, lingerie, and adult toys. You can even have a passion party in the privacy of your own home...give me a buzz! Good luck and I will pray to the fertility Goddess for you! :)

A.,
I had problems concieving both of my babies mostly due to irregular cycles. With my first I put myself on ovulex (you can order it online) Its a herbal supplement supposed to be like a fertility vitamin. I concived aftter the 1st month. My second the doc put me on clomid and i concieved my first cycle. I had no side effects with either drug. The ovulex is a little pricey. I wish you the same luck I have had with these treatments.
Hi A.,
I have another option--Clear Passage Therapies. If you have already had 2, your difficulty with number 3 is probably mostly wear and tear or hormonal. Throwing more hormones at your system without correcting whatever the imbalance may or may not help, and certainly has side effects. Have you tried acupuncture? That may be you best bet first, and then clear out the cobwebs with Clear Passage (google it!!!!!). The CPT work addresses adhesions that develop throughout the body, not just reproductive organs, including hormonal imbalance, surgical scarring and G.I. problems that cause adhesions and therefore diminished function. You can email me directly at ____@____.com and I will chat with you about it, or call them (866 222 9637) for more information. Also, you might call Dr. Sami David in Manhattan ###-###-####)--he is pretty good at finding out if there are other issues that need to be addressed and doesn't do IVF anymore. He helped me conceive at age 44 after trying for a year.
By the way, 8 months of trying is not as long as it feels and with 2 kids stressing you it could take longer without any real "issues" impeding conception. Email me--let's chat!
Hi,
Here is some info on herbs/natural remedies for infertility. I have used the Gentle Birth Formula for my two pregnancies and have been happy with the results. It's worth a try. Hope it helps!

hi arianna
i have tried acupuncture and feel it works. i got pregnant immediately after 3 treatments. But i also had sex on the days when CM is like egg white. That is the ticket i think. Dont miss that. Try visualization and meditation as well.
good luck
Dear A.,
My husband and I tried to get pregnant for almost 11 months. After 5 weekly acupuncture sessions...bingo. Definitely worth a shot.
Good luck!

There's a book called "Fertility, Cycles & Nutrition" by Marilyn Shannon. It works with your cycles and nutrition to help improve fertility. I'd at least give it a look. Good luck!!! And when it comes to kids, I say the more the merrier!
