You've got it covered. Maybe a change of clothes for her (and possibly for you) if she tends to get airsick.

Does she have some sort of stuffed animal she uses for security or other item like a blanket? I would definitely bring that.

A no-spill cup for snacks and her favorite snack, too.

I would bring snacks too, just in case! Maybe some cards, books, paper and pens, her pillow... Anything that keeps her busy :)

Check the carseat with your luggage. You do not want to have to drag it through security and around the airport. And most airlines let you check it for free I'd say skip the stroller too unless your daughter really likes riding in it. Bring snacks for the times you can't buy food. About half the time with my kids we have late planes or long walks between terminals and don't have time to buy lunch or dinner or whatever. On our last flight I brought squeezable applesauce, cheese-it's, and cashews.

On the plane we usually have two new chapter books to read, a DVD player, pipe cleaners and beads for stringing, and triangular crayons and an activity book. Also... A thin blanket because both my four year olds get cold on the plane.

Snacks, a coloring book, and a dvd are all my 4yo would need. I imagine the flight is not longer than 2-2.5 hours.

Also, my daughter is very tall, so we bring the base of a booster seat instead of a heavy carseat. So easy to carry on. Also, I bought my daughter a rolling suitcase, and she had her own suitcase that she rolled by herself.

Maybe a cup with a lid or a no-spill type of cup?

Snacks?

You seem fine J..
You got it planned.
Just plan for unexpected bathroom trips.
ALWAYS... BEFORE the plan lands... have her use the bathroom.
Disembarking a plane and waiting for luggage.... can take a LONG time.
And going to the bathroom before loading onto a plane.

If you have a child with you, they will often let you load onto the plane first.
Before the mass crowd and lines.
So listen to the overhead announcements as you wait in the plane lobby.

Bring her her 'lovey' if she has one.

good luck,
Susan
