I'm afraid I don't have any advice for you but just wanted to say I am sorry for what you are going through. Have you tried googling the springs and complications? Perhaps you can find out more about it that way. I don't know why your doctor talked you out of a tubal. I am pregnant with my 4th who is due in 8 weeks and I wll be getting my tubes tied when they do my c-section. My doctor didn't try talking me out of it at all except to strongly enforce that the way he does it, I cannot reverse it later so I MUST be sure.

If you are having pain and have been bleeding for 4 months you need to go see the gynecologist. Does your doctor know about the complications you have? If he does and hasn't done anything about it, I would look for a new doctor. If you haven't been in you need to call today and make an appointment.
We aren't doctors, don't know your medical history and such. But with everything you've got going on you need to get in to see a doctor sooner rather than later.

IDK but I had my tubes tied, then untied, that being said i would think they could just take out the tubes. I know they can in the case of an ectopic pregnancy and other such situations. Call your doc, hopefully the infection can be cleared up with medication, if that is what it is. Also get a couple of opinions from different doctors, i certainly would, a hysterectomy can be nasty for your hormones and there is no reason to go through that now if you don't have to. good luck!

Dori had a point. Talk to your doctor about it. If they're not going to help you out, keep talking to different obgyn's until you find one that will help. Bleeding for months on end is not normal and shouldn't be ignored.
