I have 20 month old that is teething, but my concern is that he has had diarrhea for the last 2 weeks or so. Is this normal to have it that long with teething should i call his doctor i am not sure.
Any advice would be helpful.

My son always got terrible diaper rash (and was very loose) when he was teething. I would call the dr just to make you feel better. Once I called the dr thinking my son was sick with a bug because he had had diarrhea for a few days. It turned out he was allergic to Ovaltene (sp). If he drinks chocolate milk made with that stuff, he gets diarrhea. Go with your gut.

I think diarrhea with teething is common but I would urge you to make a quick call to your ped nurse to check. Make sure he's getting plenty of fluid so he is not getting dehydrated. Poor lil' guy! Good luck.
My nieces both got diarrhea when they were teething. I don't know if it lasted 2 weeks at a time, but I know at least 7-10 days. My SIL followed the BRAT diet and gave them plenty of liquids. If I were in your shoes, I would call the pediatrician to be on the safe side.
I agree about calling the doctor. It's also possible that the diarrhea is from a different cause than teething, and the timing could just be a coincidence. After 2 weeks, I would definitely want to check on it.
