So, my daughter came up to me today and showed me her index finger. It was a little bruised (color is purple/pink) buts fading. She told me, she hit a wall and she hit her hand and she kinda fell and sat on the floor. Now its fading but something new came up. She got a tiny bump on her left ring finger. then it got bigger and its in the middle of her finger.it was hurting her and her finger is swollen in that part but she can move it. She is 13 yrs old.
Is it just bad bruising? EDIT: Everytime she touches the bump, it gets bigger. ANOTHER EDIT: it does not hurt her anymore its just growing a little bigger. It still there too.

What can I do next?

Sounds like something is wrong. I'd take her to the urgent care BUT BUT BUT don't waste your money if they don't have an X-ray machine. We took kiddo to one and they simply did the exam then said we'd have to go to the ER because no one had X-ray machines in their offices anymore.

Take her to the ER so you can have the X-rays read right away.

You need to take her to the Doctor.
Only a Doctor can properly diagnose that.
It doesn't matter if it hurts or not, she has a lump and it is growing.

I would take her to the doctor.
In the mantime, call the advice nurse phone line to describe the symptoms.
Definitely don't ignore it.....just in case.

You should do some research online. I would also call her primary doctors emergency number just to put your mind at ease. They're probably going to ask you if she has a fever or vomiting. So check her fever just in case. Good luck

It's not really an urgent care sort of situation at this point. I'd call her doctor on Monday and run it by him/her. They can order an xray if needed and make a referral to an ortho.
