Super Moon = Super Crazy?

I work for an Equine Vet. I have found that full moons tend to increase emergency, births, and even deaths in animals. I am just wondering if anyone else thinks that there is a connection to the moon cycle and crazy events that occur.

What can I do next?

I teach 6 year olds and I knew there was a big moon 2 days ago simply because of the behavior of children. Yep... Teachers can tell.

I had my son on a Friday. (Scheduled.) There was a full moon that Saturday. The nursery was swamped. That had nearly triple the amount of babies they usually had! I asked her if they were always that busy. She said, "Nope, full moon." She had been a nurse on the maternity ward a very long time. She said it was always like that on full moons. A lady at my church is an ER nurse, and she also said full moons were the worst.

its how "Lunatic" came about. There is some sort of pull magnetically.

Philosophers such as Aristotle and Pliny the Elder argued that the full Moon induced insanity in susceptible individuals, believing that the brain, which is mostly water, must be affected by the Moon and its power over the tides, but the Moon's gravity is too slight to affect any single person.[1] Even today, people insist that admissions to psychiatric hospitals, traffic accidents, homicides or suicides increase during a full Moon, although there is no scientific evidence to support such claims.[1]

thats just a pasted copy of stuff. I worked for a animal shelter for 7 years and could always tell by animal behavior, that it was a full moon. My husband too is affected by it. He is antsy and sullen at the same time. He dare not drink on a full moon.

I think there might be something to it. I'm trying like heck to help someone do something simple and necessary and they're making it hell for me. So, I'm not sure if I'm feeling crazy or if it's the other party, but there's definitely some crazy going on!

Oh, and my son talked for an hour nonstop while I was making dinner. I love him, but once again... c-r-a-z-y.....!!!!

Look at the effects on the ocean. The moon affects our gravity and our world would not exist without the it. I think animals are more susceptible then humans since they rely solely on their senses.

My High Functioning Autistic son has been going bonkers all day.

Call me a little nutty...if I link the two together.

My Ob said that Friday the 13th's are crazy for them. The year my son was born proved to be true. I ended up delivering on Saturday the 14th.....My doctor said had I come in not dilating she would have sent me home. The 14th it had slowed down enough they kept me..........Connection..probably not but it is fun:)

Yep, definitely. It helps explain why my toddler has been SO fussy this week! A friend of mine worked at a nursing home and said they always lost like 3 patients on a full moon. I remember being overdue with my first around a full moon and hoping it would help, it didn't but a storm front did the trick :P

I love the look of full moons, but I prefer a deep dark night. Full moons play havoc with my sleep. When I worked in politics full moons were noticeable with the amount of nutbags it brought to our office. I remember discussing it with the local police who told me they had full moons marked in their official diaries because of the extra work it created for them.

I had a cat when I was in my teens, that on every full moon, he would sit and meow at the moon. My sister was dating her future husband and they were outside the door saying their goodbyes when the cat jumped on his back from the roof and hissed at him all the while clawing him as the cat slid down his back. This was on a full moon. We always wondered on a full moon what the cat's next feat would be. The cat went a litlle looney on full moons.
