My sister, mom, and I have started a tradition of going on a girls weekend once a year. Last year we did a winery tour and stayed in a B&B and had a great time. We're starting to get plans together for our next trip. One suggestion was Berkley Springs, WV. We're looking for something around MD/VA/WV. Something quiet and relaxing and on the cheaper side! Any ideas?

Lansdowne resort near Leesburg is nice. It has a spa and a great restaurant. It's near wineries and it used to have a spa/wine package. It's also about 15 minutes from the outlets in Leesburg if you like shopping. I've also heard good things about the Kingsmill Resort.
I wish I could help, Chicago or New York city are my daughter's go to girls weekend out. Your ideas sound a lot more relaxing.
I LOVE National Harbor. We stay at the Wyndham for $100 a night (Presidential 2 bedroom Suite) and enjoy the atmosphere. There is a lot to do in the hotel for kids that is free...but outside not much is free and it's not quiet. But it's gorgeous and you're so close to DC.
I have no idea, but I LOVED Virginia when I traveled there in 1995. There's SO much to do, especially given that my hubby and I are history buffs. Have a great time.
not cheap-but the Savage River Lodge in Maryland is really nice
