Have you talked with your doc? Maybe a probiotic? But, I'm no doc. Sounds like a call into your doc would be the best plan at this point.
I was put on Topemax for Menstrual Migraines which I started a week ago Friday. I've been having a lot of problems with lower back pain, had a lot of cramps and my stomach hasn't been right in a couple of days. My pooper wasn't working well but now its ok again. my biggest complaint is my stomach has been hurting off and on. Its like it hurts kind of like a little burny stomach ache then i toot and its fine for awhile. I think its all related to the meds which I probably will not take ever again
Is there something I can take to get my stomach feeling normal again?
Would Activia work?

Pepto is amazing-but please check with the doctor or pharmacist before you use it-not sure of how it may/may not interact with what you've taken.
To find out if it's your meds you could talk with the pharmacist. They will know the side effects. Try one of the stomach medications like Zantac.
I've been on Topomax for years. I actually miss being on it (pregnant, not nursing, I can't take it) but it is GREAT for migranes and you know it curbs your appitite and who doesn't want to lose a few pounds? :)
But as for the symptoms, are you on anything else? I know certain medications don't work as accurate when you are on topomax, so that is something you can look into. For an example if you are taking birth control the topomax will make it less effective. So there is a possibility it's affecting something else.
I've had stomach problems all my life (metabolic disorder) and activa works for me. I actuall love that stuff and it helps to keep me regulated.
But if it is the medicine you can also look at juggling the dosage of it.
