Need a little bit of assistance here. Now that my boys are getting older and really understanding Christmas I need some help on Stocking Stuffers. I'd go to my g/f for this but they all have girls. I have three boys: 7, 3, and 1. The 3 year old loves planes and jets and helicopters, my 7 year old loves cars and transformers. My 1 year hasn't developed his personality yet so he likes whatever he can find on the floor. LOL. Any help will be appreciated.

Thank s

Hi E.-

One thing that 'santa'...(or the 'easter bunny) has always left for the kiddos is a new toothbrush!

I know...not too exciting...but necessary! Now they are older...and still expect it!

They ALL still get new underwear as a b day gift...a running joke for years!

Best luck!

I honestly can't believe I'm reading a stocking stuffer question.

Have you ever heard of a CVS "run" on Christmas Eve?

:P

Full Disclosure: I just asked a question yesterday wondering why we have so many Christmas questions here on Mamapedia already. Yes I am a procrastinator.

We do new toothbrushes, small toys, little coloring/activity books, art supplies, and gift cards for different activities (like $10 to Disneyland to buy a toy or one to ToysRUs), and flashlights (you can get nice ones at dollar stores).

Have fun!

Playdough, playing cards, stickers, art supplies like color wonder paper (Walmart has a little kit for $1), markers. Michaels and the Dollar store has little art projects for painting or assembling that are cute! mini puzzles and I always put a chocolate Santa lollipop. :)You can also get a regular sized puzzle and put a few pieces in each stocking and have them work together to put it together. What fun! Imagine if you could find a Santa or Christmas image puzzle. Too fun! My parents sometimes put funny stuff like toothbrushes, toothpaste, funny glasses, etc. Some stores carry these light up wands...press the button and the top globe spins with lights. Those are great! Nice quiet, small toy. :)
Have fun!

We put tooth brushes and some candy into the stockings. They get gift cards for games, music. I would put small toys, pencils, eracers, art supplies things like that in.

Ummmm.hard to say. What I'm thinking of doing for my kids as Stocking stuffers this year is maybe:
*Bubble bath(to use at their bath time.)
*Colors/coloring books
*Tooth brush(lol)
*Some candy
*Small toys(knick knack toys)
*Chalk

My kids are weird.lol...They love bubbles at bathtime and love getting new kids toothbrushes. Needless to say that kind of stuff will come in handy. :)

*My kids are 2,4,5

For mine we try to find some things that are just expected no matter how old Like jelly bellys, and stuff like that. Then you would go to what they are into. The little one a few small toys that he will like You can usually find small things taht will fint in a stocking close to Christmas. If you want to go a little more you can get the a DVD or a stuffed animal or something. We always like to have somethign that sticks out that they just go nuts over.

Good luck and God Bless

the clementine "cutie" tangerines are the perfect size for stocking stuffing :-). My girls always get a couple of those, plus toothbrush/toothpaste, roll of scotch tape (they're always making things and using up ours LOL), maybe shampoo, and a few other little "snack" things like fruit leathers or granola bars

Fruit, candy, art supplies and iTunes gift cards is what my kids get. The cards are the only things that aren't cheap! I let them each pick out a movie to buy with the $15card or they can buy music or games. And may I just say bravo to you for already thinking about this... I'm still scraping out Halloween! :)
